As we are winding The Uniform Hut down we feel the need to explain what we have become.

Our Community Hub/Café is something that has evolved naturally. Over the past 5 years, we have worked hard to build up a Community Safe Place.

We have made some amazing friends and we are extremely honoured to be a part of the wonderful community that’s coming together.

We are East Marsh Community Space Community Interest Company (CIC).

We get asked a lot if we have SEND children and the answer is no, we do not. However, we do have children and we strongly believe all children deserve the right to the same experiences. So our Hub is open to all. No judgement, no face pulling, just a welcome vibe to all.

The Café is part of the CIC and as we close The Uniform side of the business it will all form into the one CIC.

We are working with other community groups and continue to look for funding to be able to grow our offer. We are still dedicated to working within the schools, and will continue this work. We have a lot of background help from Marc Ireland and we all believe that this is going to be one amazing adventure. ❤️

We must add, yes we can order uniform in for you, and yes we are still supplying workwear, NHS and nurseries.

I'm raising £3,000 for disability support. We are on a mission to create a welcoming and accessible environment for all families who visit us. Currently, we only have a small toilet, which makes it challenging for many parents who need to care for their children.

We’ve reached out to at least four funders but unfortunately did not qualify for assistance. This is an imperative need for our space, as so many families are struggling to change their children in a practical manner. Having a disabled toilet would make a world of difference and ensure that every family feels comfortable and supported during their visit.
